Privacy Policy
This policy explains what collects when you use Night Boat, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't sell your data, and Night Boat has no ads and no cross-site tracking.
What we collect

Your settings (chosen sound, saved mixes, scene, volume, voice language) are stored only in your own browser and never sent to us.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Paddle, which collects the billing information it needs (such as name, email, country and payment method) as Merchant of Record under its own privacy policy.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: account login and the subscription record (data stored in Tokyo, Japan)
- Cloudflare: hosting and delivering the website, and anonymous visit statistics (Web Analytics)
- Paddle: checkout, billing, tax and invoices
- Google Fonts: the handwritten fonts on the page are loaded from Google, which receives your IP address when they load
These providers may process data outside your country. They act on our instructions and under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies; our visit statistics work without them. When you log in, your browser stores a login token so you stay signed in, and the app stores your settings in local storage. Clearing your browser data removes both.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and subscription record while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except billing records Paddle or we must keep by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account, by contacting from the email address on your account. Depending on where you live (for example under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act or the EU GDPR), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Night Boat isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell account holders by email about significant changes.
